Georges Lignier et Fils, Clos Roche Vintage:2018 (from a 2 ha parcel with (from a 2 ha parcel with a mix of 80% 75+ year old vines and the remainder of 15 to 20 year old vines) This is not an especially big Charmes but it’s deceptively structured as the mid palate seems quite forward yet the finish tightens up substantially while still remaining impeccably well balanced
